Pure Icelandic Sea Salt
Hand harvested
Several years ago, while traveling through Iceland, we came across a hand-harvested sea salt that immediately stood out from anything we had experienced before.
The waters surrounding Iceland are some of the cleanest and most pristine in the world. With a relatively small population, limited industrial activity, and a remote location in the North Atlantic, Iceland remains one of the few places where nature still feels largely untouched.
The more we learned about the source of this salt, the more we appreciated it.
Today, we’re proud to offer the same Pure Icelandic Sea Salt that has become a staple in our own home.
Carefully hand harvested from the pristine waters surrounding Iceland, this salt retains the character of the environment from which it comes. We were particularly drawn to Iceland because of its reputation for exceptionally clean waters and the lower environmental contamination concerns that affect many other regions of the world.
We use this salt every single day.
It goes on eggs in the morning, grilled vegetables in the evening, and just about everything in between. However, one of our favorite daily habits is adding a small pinch to a glass of water first thing in the morning as part of our hydration routine.
Simple practices often become lifelong habits.
